Matilde Iannaccone

Matilde Iannaccone is an Italian mathematics olympiad medalist from Pisa. As a student at the Liceo Scientifico Ulisse Dini she was selected for Italy's national teams: silver at EGMO 2024 (Tskaltubo, Georgia), bronze at BMO 2024 (Varna), and a bronze medal at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2024, Bath, UK), scoring 18/42. She was the first girl on Italy's IMO team since 2013. In May 2024 she won gold at the Italian national olympiad finals in Cesenatico, and in 2023 was invited to the USA Mathematical Association Training Camp. She is now an undergraduate in Mathematics and Information Science at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa.
