Maurizio Caló Caligaris

Maurizio Caló Caligaris is a Paraguayan computer scientist and entrepreneur, co-founder and CTO of Calii, a Y Combinator (S18) startup building a food e-commerce / mobile supermarket platform for Latin America. He represented Paraguay at the International Mathematical Olympiad three consecutive years (2006, 2007, 2008), winning honourable mentions in 2006 and 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008. He studied computer science at Stanford University, where he researched deep learning in Andrew Ng's group, and worked as an engineer at Addepar and interned at Quantcast.
