Olaf Targowski

Olaf Targowski is a Polish competitive programmer from Gdynia and one of the country's top young informatics talents. Trained at III Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace im. Marynarki Wojennej RP in Gdynia under professor Ryszard Szubartowski, he won the XXX Polish Olympiad in Informatics (2022/2023) outright, then represented Poland internationally in 2023, taking silver at the Baltic Olympiad (BOI), bronze at the Central European Olympiad (CEOI), and bronze at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2023), where he scored 209.5 points (rank 107/350). He went on to study at the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics (MIMUW), competing in ICPC/AMPPZ team programming and reaching the 2024 Potyczki Algorytmiczne final.
