Oisín Flynn-Connolly is an Irish mathematician working in higher algebra and algebraic topology. He represented Ireland at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2014 and 2015, earning honourable mentions both years. He completed a PhD at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (2021-2024) under Grégory Ginot, and since November 2024 has been a postdoc at Leiden University with Henning Basold in the StyLo team, working on homotopical and coalgebraic approaches to optimization algorithms and a probabilistic approach to homotopy theory.
