Petr Mitrichev

Petr Mitrichev (b. 19 March 1985, Moscow) is a Russian competitive programmer and one of the most decorated in the field. He won gold at the IOI in 2000 and 2002 and silver in 2001 representing Russia, took ICPC World Finals gold in 2003 and 2005 with Moscow State University, won Google Code Jam 2006 and the Topcoder Open four times (2006, 2013, 2015, 2018), and won the Facebook Hacker Cup three times (2011, 2013, 2017). He holds one of the highest ratings ever among Topcoder Algorithm competitors and is an International Grandmaster on Codeforces (peak 3597, July 2016). He works as a software engineer at Google on search, and helped organize Google Code Jam until it was discontinued in 2023.
