Some shit magazine sent us a email interview in 2013, and I decided to answer every question with fake answers. One question was "what is your favorite gloryhammer song?" So I made up a song title on the spot and it was "questlords of Inverness, ride to the galactic fortress!". A year later we decided to make it into a real song.

Metal, particularly power metal, has this inherent problem where it's difficult to add MORE to a song for the climax, when the basic requirements of the genre are that you're going full force 24/7. In more restrained genres which have access to a broader palette of stylistic choices (like modern pop for example) you can do so many different things to build up the song. But in power metal, all you've got is the GAWD DAMN TRUCKER KEYCHANGE.

So...What exactly is the plan for that giant af castle set piece after this tour?

u/hyperchrisz replied

It is customary at the end of tour to destroy all the guitars, drums, keyboards, lights, and stage props, because unfortunately nobody has yet invented storage lockers.
