JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS was hilarious and awesome to make. I got my hair permed, which was a horrible idea, especially when it grew back with straight roots. But it was really really fun. I got to pretend to be…

I wanted a name with a .com domain I could buy that also meant NOTHING so it would always fit whatever kind of videos I wanted to make. I refreshed FakeNameGenerator until I saw Vsauce.com listed under "website" and I knew it was true love <3

Also, I had to switch to energy drinks right before shooting (if necessary) instead of coffee because coffee made my tongue brown and it looked gross in the videos.

One of my favorite reactions was from Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits. I did a parody of "Money For Nothing" in my movie UHF, and when I asked him for permission, he said, "Well, yeah... but you have to let me play GUITAR on it!!" So.... he did!

While it looks like there MIGHT have been an edit somewhere, I absolutely guarantee you, that was all done in ONE CONTINUOUS SHOT. That was a bit of a challenge for me, because I start the video on a 5th…

I started when I was 13 and I always knew that I wanted to be an actress. I took many acting classes, singing lessons and my first audition was for Hello Kitty.

I had Dwight write the introduction to my book which was really funny. He's definitely the combination of myself and the magic of the writers. Greg Daniels, BJ and Paul Lieberstein helped with the intro. Dwight hated the book and thinks Rainn Wilson is an idiot.

Wow. I think I do it differently all the time. But it's basically a try-tone substituted dominant to root. Which means the bass is Bb (instead of E), and then you can make whatever altered dominant you want. Try Bb13. Then Ami at the end.
