Christian Reiher (born 19 April 1984 in Starnberg, Bavaria) is a German mathematician working at the University of Hamburg in extremal and arithmetic combinatorics and structural Ramsey theory. As a schoolboy he was one of the most successful competitors in the history of the International Mathematical Olympiad, representing Germany every year from 1999 to 2003 and winning a bronze (1999) and four gold medals (2000-2003). Just after his Abitur he proved Kemnitz's conjecture on lattice points in the plane. He studied at LMU Munich (Diplom) and earned his Dr. rer. nat. at the University of Rostock in 2010 under Hans-Dietrich Gronau; he is best known for co-proving the clique density theorem and received the European Prize in Combinatorics in 2017.

Christian Reiher (born 19 April 1984 in Starnberg am See, Bavaria) is a German mathematician at the University of Hamburg, working in extremal and arithmetic combinatorics and structural Ramsey theory. The eldest child of Gymnasiallehrer Werner Reiher and Sigrid Reiher (nee Hermann), he grew up in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, attended the Schyrengymnasium there and passed the Abitur in June 2003. A six-time national winner of the Bundeswettbewerb Mathematik, he represented Germany at the International Mathematical Olympiad from 1999 to 2003, winning a bronze medal and four golds. He studied mathematics with a minor in theoretical physics at LMU Munich from 2003, spent 2006/07 as a guest student in Oxford's logic and model theory group, and graduated as a Diplom-Mathematiker in 2008 with a thesis on inaccessible Jonsson cardinals. He earned his doctorate at the University of Rostock in 2010 under Hans-Dietrich Gronau, proved Kemnitz's conjecture, co-authored the clique density theorem (Annals of Mathematics, 2016), and received the European Prize in Combinatorics in 2017.
