Ciprian Manolescu is a Romanian-American mathematician and professor at Stanford University. He holds one of the strongest competitive mathematics records ever, with three perfect scores at the IMO and three Putnam Fellow placements. His research centers on Floer homology, Seiberg-Witten theory and the topology of manifolds, and he is best known for disproving the triangulation conjecture in high dimensions.
