Hou Meng Ip

Hou Meng Ip (also written Ip Hou Meng; Chinese 葉浩鳴) is a Macau-raised mathematics and informatics olympiad competitor. He represented Macau at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2007 (48th IMO, Vietnam), earning an Honourable Mention with 7 points, and returned in 2009. Unusually for an IMO contestant, he also competed at the International Olympiad in Informatics all four years from 2007 to 2010, placing 239th in 2010; he won back-to-back golds at the Macau Olympiad in Informatics in 2007 and 2008 while at Hou Kong Middle School. He later studied computer science at National Taiwan University.
