Jarmo Palomaki (Finnish: Jarmo Palomäki) is a Finnish mathematician and former mathematical olympiad competitor. He represented Finland at the 18th International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Lienz, Austria in July 1976, where he won a bronze medal - placing 81st of 139 contestants with 15 of a possible 42 points (scoring 5, 0, 1, 2, 0, 7 across the six problems). He was one of a small Finnish IMO cohort that year alongside Pekka Puomio, Seppo Karrila, Juhani Kupiainen and Jari Virtanen. Beyond the olympiad record, no unambiguous public trace of his later career has been established; the surname is common in Finland and the many same-name profiles do not reliably connect to this individual.
