Just a sticker I thought was cool. So I snuck it into the car and stuck it on the dash that night. Bud was pissed off because of the connection of that symbol with poison.

They actually asked our team if I could remove it during the race. I didn’t get that information till years later.

Context: Asked what the skull sticker on his dashboard in the 2001 Pepsi 400 was for. Source

could a fan just throw trash on track to cause a debris caution?

and if you did, what would happen to the fan in the stands?

u/DaleJr- replied

A fan should only throw trash on the track if Jeff Gordon is declared the leader at the time of the caution thus making him the winner and denying you a win at Talladega.

What’s Our Take On Hocevar?

Do we like him? Do we hate him? Feel like I’ve been hearing he has the potential to be a damn good driver, is it true? Who would be a comparable driver of the past? He’s not my driver, but feel like I started pulling for him at the end of stage 3… Just conversation/discussion…

I look at the competitors like a cast for a movie. You need villains and heroes and all types. Hocevar reminds me of the oddball teammate. Think Howling Mad Murdock from the A Team. Kinda strange, but good for the group. I think we are all still learning what kind of character he has, but no doubt he's fast. He will be around for a while and likely have some really wild swings in ups and downs. Surprisingly good decisions followed by unexplainable bad ones. And that's absolutely perfect for us who get to enjoy the drama and storylines. He's gonna keep it interesting.

Did Stewart-Haas make a mistake by signing Josh Berry so early this year?

From what we've seen out of Josh Berry since his early cup hype, he hasn't been impressive at all. You have to think if SHR waited they could have had a chance at a guy like Hocevar, who looked good in cup, they could have taken a chance on some other guys like Zane Smith, or…

It’s my fault. I didn’t give him what he needed this year. He’s good enough for the cup opportunity. The lack of wins/success this year was not a JBerry issue.
