I'm so glad redditors like the shirt I made :) I suppose we should do another run of them some time. Would folks buy them if we did?

A redditor posted in r/Android: With negative reviews of the Xoom from Ars, Engadget and TechRadar, what do redditors think of their new toy?

I bought a Xoom last weekend. It was my...10th tablet. (Hi, I'm Jesse and I'm a Gadget Addict) It feels much like the iPad did on launch day. Sure, it can run all the regular apps I know and love…

Most important truths they're afraid to express? Good question. 1. Often (but not always - often) people complaining they "can't raise money because of a lack of capital" are really saying they "can't raise money because their idea or team…

A few months after Digg launched I remember hearing about reddit launching, I went to check out the site and I can't recall if I signed up or not... I think my first account was a couple years ago.

Having built Digg, I have a pretty thick skin, this thread is pretty tame actually.

I generally don't engage in conversations with inanimate objects. PS Much appreciate the pioneering role they played and every river other people are tacking is a win for the planet!

Good question! Currently reading "How Big Things Get Done" by Bent Flyvbjerg which includes the amazing stat that historically just 0.5% of megaprojects have been delivered on time/quality/budget which is totally insane. With our cost calculations we produced high and…

Do it often. Coding is a skill like riding a bike. If you have a choice between coding and reading a book about coding, do coding first, then read the book when you get stuck. Don't read the book first…

Find about 80 founders, CEOs and early employees of well-known companies who post on Reddit under an account publicly tied to them (verified flair, an AMA they hosted, their own site or socials, or press). Lean toward the ones who answer their own customers in their product's subreddit (think Valve in r/Steam, Obsidian in r/ObsidianMD, Tailscale, Home Assistant, Bitwarden, Backblaze, Immich, iFixit, DuckDuckGo, Factorio's Wube, RimWorld's Tynan Sylvester, Stardew Valley's ConcernedApe, Terraria, Path of Exile, Helldivers, Twitch, indie game studios, SaaS and hardware startups), plus Reddit's own founders and first employees and the famous founder AMAs (Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Gabe Newell, Jimmy Wales, Mark Cuban, Alexis Ohanian and the like). For each person give: name, company, company website, role at the company, industry, company stage (public, large private, startup, indie studio or solo), Reddit username exactly as it appears, the subreddit where they answer customers if any, the public link tying the account to them, their Wikipedia page if any, and their three best Reddit moments: the permalink, subreddit, date and exact text, favouring times they fixed a bug for a random user, admitted a mistake, explained a decision or told an early-days story.
