Rookie mistake... When you play your own game a lot you don't realize how hard it is for everyone else. But there was also a lot of stuff that was hard due to poor implementation, or "bad hard" as opposed to "good hard." That is one of my big pearls of wisdom... If players are having too much trouble beating your game, it's probably because you're stupid, not them.

I actually developed that app back in 2011. It ran for many years but after some big SDK updates I think it no longer works on the Roku OS and would need to be rebuilt.

As far as some of the other suggestions in this thread, a microtransactions API is something we've long considered but hard to say if we'll ever actually do it, given the big to-do list we're always working through. We do have a hub update to the games section coming, which will introduce larger thumbnails and more filtering options.

This subreddit could even consider crowdfunding a monthly prize that's given out each month to new games, regardless of what site they appear on.
