“Wild is a great way to explain the last 72 hours but wow... the leadership pulled it off and we are now in an even better place than any of us could have ever thought of.”
- Alex Hammett is starting a new role as an Account Executive at Conduct, joining from Cognition, and will work with large organisations on transformation programmes particularly around SAP. Quote: "Today I’m starting a new chapter and joining Conduct as an Account Executive."Oct 5, 2026So, a bit of personal news. Today I’m starting a new chapter and joining Conduct as an Account Executive. I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few months thinking about what I wanted to do next, and from the first few conversations with Jan Philipp Haas there was something about Conduct that just clicked. It’s a hugely ambitious company, going after a genuinely difficult problem, and doing it with a team I really wanted to be part of. The opportunity to work with some of the world’s largest organisations as they rethink how major transformation programmes get delivered, particularly aroun
- His role at Cognition was commercial (go-to-market/enterprise sales across Europe and MENA), not engineering: posts focus on customer events, financial-services use cases (Citi, banks incident resolution), Devin webinars and regional hiring, and he is named an 'international founding team member' at the Nov 2025 Riyadh planning session.Nov 2025
- Joined the Windsurf/Cognition orbit in June 2025: his 24-25 June 2025 posts promote Windsurf with Databricks and the MongoDB MCP Server, and his 14 July 2025 'Wild is a great way to explain the last 72 hours' post lands right as Cognition agreed to acquire Windsurf.Jul 14, 2025Published: 2025-07-14T18:13:57.684Z Wild is a great way to explain the last 72 hours but wow... the leadership pulled it off and we are now in an even better place than any of us could have ever thought of.
- Alex Hammett is hiring Conduct's first Analyst Relations lead, based in London, to build the AR program from the ground up with the founders' backing. Quote: "We’re hiring Conduct’s first Analyst Relations lead, based in London."Nov 3, 2026We’re hiring Conduct’s first Analyst Relations lead, based in London. The world’s largest companies run on SAP systems layered with decades of custom code. New requirements take months to ship. Migrations cost $100M+ and take years. We’re building the AI operating system that absorbs that complexity and gives enterprises their speed back. Major enterprises already trust us with their most critical systems, we’ve closed big SI partnerships, and we just raised a $60M Series A. Every great enterprise software company reaches a point where analysts stop treating it as a vendor to watch and start
- Alex Hammett announced a major Devin update enabling it to autofix review comments in addition to lint and CI issues, closing the loop between AI code generation and quality. Quote: "Today, we launched a major update: Devin can now autofix review comments in addition to addressing lint and CI issues."Feb 23, 2026We have just closed the loop between AI code generation and quality, marking a significant shift in our approach. As AI agents generate code at unprecedented speeds, reviewing it has become the new bottleneck. Today, we launched a major update: Devin can now autofix review comments in addition to addressing lint and CI issues. When GitHub bots identify a problem—whether from linters or security scanners—Devin automatically resolves it and feeds the fix back into the pull request. The process is streamlined: Write. Catch. Fix. Merge. Agents write, review bots catch, and Devin fixes. With CI
- Alex Hammett announces that his team built Devin Review, a code review tool that works on public and private GitHub PRs and is free to try at devinreview.com. Quote: "That’s why we built Devin Review. It helps engineers quickly understand what is actually changing in large, multi-file PRs."Jan 22, 2026As more engineers adopt AI coding tools, the bottleneck has shifted. Writing code is faster than ever. Reviewing it is not. Pull requests are growing larger and more complex, yet most code review tools still treat them as flat lists of files and diffs. That approach does not scale. That’s why we built Devin Review. It helps engineers quickly understand what is actually changing in large, multi-file PRs. What Devin Review does differently: 1. Groups related changes together and presents them in a logical order, instead of file by file 2. Provides concise summaries explaining what changed and

Most coding benchmarks still ask a fairly narrow question: “does the code work?” But in real production environments, that is only the beginning. The harder question is whether a maintainer would actually merge the PR: whether it is idiomatic, well-scoped, tested properly, aligned to the codebase, and good enough to live with over time. Cognition’s new FrontierCode benchmark is an important step in that direction, moving evaluation from simple correctness towards the kind of engineering judgement that makes software maintainable. Worth reading for anyone thinking seriously about where AI codin
Core banking platforms are increasingly adopting an event-driven approach, which brings both opportunities and challenges. Key signals arise from: - Smart contract changes - Configuration updates - Ledger postings - Production anomalies The real challenge lies not in generating change, but in confidently understanding its downstream impact. In modern core environments, especially real-time ledger systems, the cost of validation can escalate faster than the pace of delivery. A minor rule change can create significant ripples through posting logic, balances, integrations, and reporting. The en
