- Cognition's 'Building in London' post names him a senior London hire: he works with CIOs, CTOs and engineering leaders across the region to put AI agents into production; his hire is part of a UK team build-out press covered as growing more than 200% in six months.Oct 22, 2026
- Announced joining Cognition as Field CTO for Financial Services, writing verbatim: "Spending time programming most of my conscious life, watching code go from something I write, to something I direct, to something that writes itself sparked that curiosity once again."Jul 28, 2026I'm pleased to share I'm joining Cognition as Field CTO for Financial Services. Curiosity has shaped every major decision in my career. It's the reason I've moved between disciplines, institutions and continents, driven simply by the will to learn and grow. Spending time programming most of my conscious life, watching code go from something I write, to something I direct, to something that writes itself sparked that curiosity once again. For a change of that magnitude, there's no better place to learn than working alongside the people leading it. The team is young, sharp, and already fluent in a way of working most of the industry hasn't caught up to yet. I was hoping to learn what being AI native feels like but alongside that they've already taught me swimming, bungee jumping, karaoke and that taco bell at midnight is great for gains. There's a lot of anxious conversation these days about where AI is headed and what it means for the next generation. Spending a few days with them told me they'll be just fine. In my new role, I'll help bring autonomous software engineering into financial institutions, in a way that meets the security, governance and regulatory standards that define the sector. We're only at the beginning and I'm excited to build this vision alongside people who are actively defining what this next era looks like. If your institution is thinking through how to adopt AI safely and at scale, I'm here.
