Lift people up. And take them home safely.” This is the purpose of GE Aerospace. I haven’t forgotten it after the first time I met Andrew Coleman, and he shared it with our team. He brought us through the ethos of their business, why they exist and how they live out these values for their customers, their employees and the passengers and pilots who travel on planes every day. I had the chance to sit down with Andrew and Nate Hicks a couple weeks ago to talk about how their team is using AI to unlock passenger capacity, lower fuel costs and further drive safety and a seamless experience for passengers and pilots. I travel more weeks than not, and getting to see the G-swirl when I hop on a plane or pilots using their flight analytics software takes on a whole new meaning for me. I’m excited for this interview to come out in the coming weeks and for more people to hear how GE Aerospace invents the future of flight, lifts people up and brings them home safely.

Goldman Sachs’s CIO, Marco Argenti, highlighted how AI is already transforming software development at the firm: “The most immediate impact will come in software development.
