- Promoted to Account Director on Cognition's Emerging Enterprise team, posting: "Excited to share that I've been promoted to Account Director on the Emerging Enterprise team at Cognition!" Under a year after the acquisition.May 12, 2026Excited to share that I've been promoted to Account Director on the Emerging Enterprise team at Cognition! Massive thank you to those that helped along the way - my leadership team, teammates, and mentors. What we're building is genuinely changing how teams ship software. Getting to be part of that every day and helping enterprises tackle their biggest technical challenges fires me up. Couldn't be more grateful to do it with this team. Excited for what's to come. Let's keep building the future of software engineering 🚀
- Posted Cognition's September 2026 recap verbatim: "We just had our biggest month ever. Here's what 30 days at Cognition looked like." listing a $1B run rate, a $2B+ Series E at a $48B valuation, a São Paulo office, Chris Degnan as CRO and Alex Stamos as CISO, SWE-2, Devin on macOS, Fusion and Devin in Microsoft Teams.Oct 2, 2026We just had our biggest month ever. Here's what 30 days at Cognition looked like. In September, we: → Crossed a $1B run rate → Raised over $2B at a $48B valuation (Series E) → Opened our first Latin America office, in São Paulo → Welcomed Chris Degnan as CRO and Alex Stamos as CISO (2 legends in their respective fields) → Shipped SWE-2, our most advanced model yet: top performance at 60%+ lower cost → Launched Devin on macOS, so it can now build and test native iOS and Mac apps → Made Devin up to 40% more cost-efficient with Fusion → Brought Devin into Microsoft Teams, so you can tag it like any other coworker None of this happens by chance. The focus here is clear. We are building the future of software engineering. Our customers trusted us early and push us hard. Your feedback is in every one of these launches. My favorite part? We celebrated for a minute. Then went right back to the question we ask every day: how do we help our customers ship more? Milestones are nice. Customers are the point. On to October.

- Posted: "Cognition's top 50 customers beat the S&P 500 by 24 points in the last year." arguing "It's not about how broadly you deploy. It's about where you aim." This customer-ROI framing (migrations, test coverage, backlog) is the enterprise sales pitch he carries as an Account Director.Jul 28, 2026Cognition's top 50 customers beat the S&P 500 by 24 points in the last year. The 40 publicly listed companies among our top 50 customers returned +40.7% over the past 12 months. The S&P 500 returned +16.4%. We've noticed a pattern in the companies pulling ahead. They didn't adopt AI because everyone else was. Adoption isn't the edge anymore. 92% of the S&P 500 already uses a frontier model in some form (Cognition, OpenAI, Anthropic). The companies seeing real returns did something different. They pointed AI straight at their biggest technical challenges. The gnarly migration no one wanted to own. The test coverage gap. The backlog that had been "next quarter" for three years. They didn't run experiments to look innovative. They put AI on the problems where the ROI was undeniable, and they proved it in production. It's not about how broadly you deploy. It's about where you aim.
