Replying to the postFinally decided to marry Elliot and he immediately gives me the ick 😭
This is a mistake. He was supposed to say this if you marry Leah
When I'm doing dialogues like this I will often copy and paste an entry from another data sheet first, just to get the formatting right. Then I'll edit the actual data. In this case I must've copied the entry from Leah (she comments if you marry elliott), and then forgotten to change the part that was targeting Elliott

Replying to the postWhat "fantasy cliches" occur most often in real life?
Occasionally, eccentric elderly dudes with threadbare robes and long, gray beards will show up on my doorstep and tell me that there is a great prophecy surrounding my destiny and that I must depart with them for a long journey.
I call the police pretty frequently.

Hey brother, GW accidentally sent me two. It's an amazing model, but so distinct there would be no need to ever field two. DM me your addy and I'll pop my spare into the mail and get you straight.
EDIT: Coordinates received. Sgt. Castus has been successfully deployed to a new warzone. Godspeed through the warp, Battle Brother.

Replying to the postWhat’s the most creative military tactic you’ve read about?
Hmm.
Driving a bunch of elephants through snowy passes to descend on an unsuspecting enemy who's barely seen elephants before? Tying torches to the horns of oxen and stampeding them into the enemy camp at night, so they think a full attack is incoming? Cavalry waiting until the harbor freezes so they can charge across the ice and capture the enemy fleet?
All seems pretty implausible to me. =)

Replying toYeah I swear cliffdiving is almost an intentional feature it's so common and so difficult
When I added this as a feature, I wanted them to take the fall time into consideration for their fuse - so big drops would explode quicker. I forgot to add a cap onto it though, and so for a short while it would rain instant-exploding creepers onto you. Fun but scary!

Hehe, I wrote that line during a commercial break while watching The Simpsons, and the rest of the introduction after the show was over. I’ve never written anything again as good, so The Simpsons must be my muse.

Replying to the postFull-time YouTubers, what's one piece of advice you'd give to an aspiring content creator?
Make the content that you would watch. Don’t follow trends. Growing an audience takes A LOT of hard work, it took me 100 comics to get 100 followers. Don’t worry about the content being bad, everything you make when you first start out will be bad, you have to make the bad content to learn how to make the good content. And most importantly, have fun :)

Replying to the postThis day in history (Dec. 23 1986)- after nine days and four minutes in the sky Voyager returns to Edwards AFB after flying 25,012 miles around the world. Replying to the post[Red Seas] Is this a mistake?
It's an author mistake, the guy has a certain glib recklessness to his earlier work that sometimes stretched the abilities of even the most nimble-witted copy editors. You should try to spot the bit where he puts a month in two different parts of the year, he's still trying to come up with some sort of plausible diegetic way to explain that one.

Replying to the postThe Definitive Scientific Guide to Eyebrow-Raising in Fantasy Fiction
Ha. Crazy. I'm very conscious of using eyebrows a LOT when I'm doing a first draft, and much of my revision time is spent replacing eyebrow moves with other, more character-specific expressions. When I saw my name at the top of the list I worried that all that effort had been for naught. Then I realised it was in alphabetical order.
